Everyone who wants to play for the 2026-2027 DSC season must register and attend a Player Placement session to be considered for the new season team. If the player is injured or on family vacation, please still register for Player Placement, and let the DSC Director of Coaching know by email, Jason Berna doc@dubuquesoccer.org 

It is NOT mandatory to attend every tryout date for your child's age group, but it is recommended to attend as many as you can. You do not need to message us if you are unable to attend certain sessions. 

• We want every player to attend the Player Placement for their true age group, wherever their birth date falls. The Director of Coaching has the final say in any and all placement decisions. 
• US SOCCER New Age Group Format - Nothing has changed here from the initial information we sent out regarding this update, but wanted to touch base again. For the 2026-2027 season, teams will be based on August 1st-July 31st birth dates (see below). 
• Decisions regarding a player “playing up” will be based on a holistic evaluation of their technical, tactical, physical, and psychological readiness, with the primary objective of supporting long-term player development.
• The Director of Coaching (DOC) is the final decision-maker for all playing-up placements. These decisions are club-led and development-driven, not determined by parent or player preference.

All tryouts will be held at the Dubuque Soccer complex on age group fields listed below - please have players wear Light Grey Jersey or Grey T-Shirt.

GIRLS:

U8/9 Girls – 5 to 6:20 pm – Field 6A – Age Group Aug 1, 2017 – July 31, 2019

U10 Girls – 5 to 6:20 pm – Field 6B – Age Group Aug 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017

U11 Girls – 6:30 to 7:50 pm – Field 5A - Age Group Aug 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016

U12 Girls – 6:30 to 7:50 pm – Field 5B – Age Group Aug 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015

U13/14 Girls – 5 to 6:20 pm – Field 3 – Age Group Aug 1, 2012 – July 31, 2014
